Bowlsworld.com was launched on 31/01/07. Bowlsworld.com is an
online trading arm of Bowls World Ltd., The Director of which,
Martin Curtis has been in the Bowls business for over 15 years,
and has played bowls since the age of 14. The retail shop is run
by Martin and his wife Mandy, they are assisted by Julie taking
phone orders, and enquires in the office, and Sally helping in
the shop and packing dept.
The shop moved to its current address
in September 2005, after outgrowing the original premises where
it had been for 9 years. Much of this growth has come from the
Internet and mail order sales, generated by our sister site www.bowlsworld.co.uk,
which has been online for 7 years.
Bowlsworld.com has been designed with a more
modern feel, but with the same personal service that Bowlsworld
has become renown for. Making the design similar to most high
street sports shops websites, we hope that bowlsworld.com will
appeal to the younger element of bowlers aswell. But for those
